About the 100 Fully Funded Rotary Peace Masters Fellowship 2021

The Rotary Fellowship awards up to 100 fully funded fellowships for dedicated leaders.

The scholars are chosen from all over the world to study a master’s degree or professional development certificate at one of our peace centres.

In the last 10 years, the Rotary Peace Centres have trained more than 1,200 scholars.

It is worthy noting that, many fellows currently serve as leaders at international organisations or have started their own foundations.

The Rotary Peace Centres program offers academic training, practice, and global networking opportunities.

The knowledge scholars will acquire, will help nurture them into experienced and effective catalysts for peace in the world.

FELLOWSHIP OFFER:

The fellowships will cover;

  • Full tuition and fees,
  • Room and board
  • Travel cost
  • internship and field study costs

AWARDS:

There are 50 fellowships available for the master’s degree and 50 for the professional development certificate studies at premier universities.

The Master’s degree programs;

Fellowship recipients will study peace and development issues with research-informed teaching and a diverse student body.

The master’s degree lasts 15-24 months

Masters fellows will design a field study (2-3 months)

The Professional development certificate program;

The fellows for the professional development certificate will gain practical tools for promoting peace and international development during an intensive 3 months’ study period.

The program includes 3 weeks of field study and peer learning opportunities with a diverse group of fellows.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Candidates for the Rotary Peace fellowship MUST meet the following requirements;

  • Proficiency in English language (a second language is strongly recommended)
  • Show commitment to international understanding and peace
  • Have excellent leadership skills

Masters applicants:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of related full-time work or volunteer experience

Professional development Certificate applicants:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of related full-time work or volunteer experience

Masters applicants:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of related full-time work or volunteer experience

Professional development Certificate applicants:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of related full-time work or volunteer experience
