Applications are invited for the Northeast Agricultural University Scholarships 2024. The last date to apply for Northeast Agricultural University Scholarships is 15th March 2024. Students are encouraged to apply if they wish to pursue a master’s or doctoral degree. To apply for this scholarship, you do not need to take the IELTS exam. The application fee for this university is ineffective. There are fully funded scholarships available for the 2024–2025 academic year.

The Postgraduate Degree program at Northeast Agricultural University offers courses in almost all academic areas and majors. The full cost of studying in China will be covered by the scholarship. The Ph.D. and Master’s degrees have three-year durations, respectively. Both degree programs also include a one-year language course.

Northeast Agricultural University, founded in Harbin in 1948 and originally named Northeast Agricultural College, is a key university directly under Heilongjiang province and one of the universities of Project “211.”. It is located at No. 59 Mucai Street, XiangFang District, Harbin.

NEAU comprises 18 colleges and 1 education department, covering the disciplines of agronomy, engineering, science, economics, and management. There are 3 key disciplines at the national level, 3 key (under cultivation) disciplines at the national level, 2 key disciplines under the Agricultural Ministry, 2 key disciplines at the provincial level, 6 first-class provincial key disciplines, and 29 second-class ones.

NEAU is entitled to verify the proficiency of the professors, associate professors, and PhD tutors. It has a balanced teaching structure and relatively high overall teaching level with 1097 full-time teachers, among which there are 195 professors and 256 associate professors, 418 have Master’s degrees, and 326 own doctoral degrees. Among the teachers, one is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and one of them was awarded the “HeLiangHeLi Fund” prize for progress in science and technology. Application Procedure

Applicants must submit the following application materials by logging into the Northeast Agricultural University Admission System for International Students(hereinafter referred to as NEAU system) https://neau.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx before March 15 of the year of admission and must send two copies of the application materials in paper form to the International Cultural and Educational College, Northeastern Agricultural University before March 20 of the year of admission.

Application Materials

• Highest diploma (notarized photocopy). If applicants are school students, they shall provide pre-graduation certificates. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be included with notarized translations in Chinese or English.
• Applicants for undergraduate studies are required to provide high school transcripts. Applicants for graduate studies are required to provide undergraduate transcripts. Applicants for doctoral studies need to provide undergraduate transcripts and graduate transcripts. Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be included with notarized translations in Chinese or English.
• A study or research plan in Chinese or in English, which shall be no less than 800 words.(Master and Ph.D. only)
• Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English by professors or associate professors. (Master and Ph.D. only)
• A copy of the passport.(If your passport expires before December 2024, you must apply for a new one before submission)
• 6)Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form filled in English. The medical examination results are valid for 6 months. All applicants are kindly requested to consider this factor while determining the time to take this medical examination.
• Six 2-inch ID photos with white background.
• A copy of the HSK certificate (not compulsory).
• Published academic papers and academic achievements (not compulsory).

• Exempt from registration fee, tuition fee, and fee for accommodation on campus;
• Fee for Comprehensive Medical Insurance and Benefit Plan for International Students in China.
• 3) Monthly living allowance is paid to the students according to the standards and regulations of CSC. The duration of the Scholarship will be lengthened by one additional year for the students who need to learn Chinese.
• NEAU provides free accommodation for Chinese Government Scholarship students. The doctoral will live in a single room and the master student will live in a double room.

Approval and Notification

• The International and Educational College of NEAU will review all the application materials and NEAU is authorized to make necessary adjustments to the specialties and duration of study.
• Applicants are encouraged to contact the departments and supervisors before applying and enclose the relevant admission or recommendation letter. (refer to the appendix: Degree Programs for International Students).
• Applicants accepted by NEAU of higher education will be submitted to MOEC for the record.
• In principle, applicants who have not obtained the highest prior academic qualification by the date of registration will not be admitted.
• New Chinese Government Scholarship students should register before the deadline. Anyone unable to register on time should submit justification and provide proof as well as seek permission from the International Students Office of International Cultural and Educational College.
