Non-invasive Research Ethics Committee 

All non-drug observational studies, polls, interviews, focus groups, retrospection archive scanning, research using biological samples like blood, urine, tissue, genetic information, EEG, or radiological images, or using information gleaned from routine exams, examinations, and treatments, Studies involving cell or tissue culture, gene therapy (not for treatment purposes), nursing activities, diet studies involving food additives, studies on body physiology such as exercise, studies on anthropometric measurement, and tests of living habits are examples of research that does not require direct medical attention on a patient. Clinical Research Ethics Committee

Our Clinical Research Ethics Committee evaluates applications from within and outside our University from a scientific and ethical perspective in line with the Regulation on Clinical Research published by the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency of the Ministry of Health. 

Animal Research Ethics Committee

Any project or study that involves performing in vivo or in vitro research with experimental animals must submit an application to this board. Applications for projects won’t be accepted if the board hasn’t approved them.

General Secretariat

• The entire administrative structure of Üsküdar University operates under the General Secretariat.
• General secretary; It provides the necessary coordination to ensure that the administrative units within the university work effectively, regularly, and harmoniously.
• The General Secretary serves as Rapporteur in the University Executive Board and Senate.

Student Departments

The Student Affairs Department’s duties include providing our students, parents, academic staff, and administrative staff with accurate information in accordance with current law, directing them to suitable units, and completing the tasks and deals outlined in this law on schedule in accordance with the academic calendar. From the moment they apply, all the information and records that our students will need throughout the year are prepared and sent to them as soon as possible.

Our students must carefully adhere to all announcements made to them on our University’s website, mobile application, social media pages, email or information boards on campus, and our University’s academic calendar in order to maintain a healthy educational life. Additionally, it is crucial for them to update their information from the student affairs office as soon as possible in case their contact information changes in order to prevent any issues with connecting with our students.

Student Information System

Upon beginning their studies, our students have access to information on their registrations for courses, grades, absences, etc. They will use the automated system to keep an eye on their transactions. They can log in by following the instructions on the page when using //obs.uskudar.edu.tr or the OBS shortcut on our website. By completing the required details from the “Single Password” link on the student information system website, students can obtain a new password if they forget it or do not know it.

Student Mail System

All new students at Üsküdar University receive an email address when they enroll. Throughout their academic careers, our students will communicate with our university using this email address. Our students must adhere to the instructions on the https://bt.uskudar.edu.tr/btmail website in order to receive their emails.

Student Identity Card

All new students who register with Üsküdar University receive student identification cards. These cards will be used by our students for buying on campus as well as for entering and leaving the university. Our students can request a new ID card from the Student Affairs Office if they misplace their current one or need to renew it.

Military Service Postponement Procedures

Male students can register for our university’s associate degree and undergraduate programs by inquiring online about their military status. The relevant military branch can monitor the student status of registered male students online and conduct processes for delaying military service. The Military Service Branch follows postponement processes based on a person’s age of 29 as long as their education is still being pursued. graduation, dismissal, horizontal transfers, etc. of students. Eligibility Requirements

• All Turkish citizens and international students are eligible to apply for scholarships at Uskudar University.
• Bachelor’s programs demand a higher secondary education or a 12-year degree.
• For master’s degree programs, a bachelor’s degree is required.
• For Ph.D. degree programs, a master’s degree needs to be obtained.
• For a Master’s degree, the age limit is 35, and for a Ph.D., it is 40 at the time of application.
• High academic standing.
