Qian Xuesen Library

The predecessor of the Xi’an Jiaotong University Library was the Nanyang Public School Library, founded in Shanghai in 1896. The library building, completed in October 1919, received the name “Library of Shanghai Industrial College from the Ministry of Communications.

Xi’an Jiaotong University’s library consists of two parts. The north building, with a construction area of 11,200 square meters, was constructed in July 1961.
