The University of Exeter Students’ Guild is here to help you love Exeter! The Guild exists to encourage and inspire all students to find their people, their passion, and their place. Central to student life, the Guild is your home for societies, events, representation, and advice.

Representation: The Students’ Guild is a member-led organization that exists to represent all students on the Exeter campuses. Student-led representation is vital to drive change on campus and ensure the student’s voice is heard at every level and on every issue. You can share your opinions, become a rep, and campaign for change to improve the student experience.

Give it a go. Running a program of trips throughout the year, this is your chance to try out a unique range of trips and activities. Most of the events are free or low-cost, and you can come to as many as you like!

Starting at university is an exciting time, and we realize the importance of finding the right place to live. Being in a university residence enables you to make friends right away. You will meet a diverse range of people from different backgrounds and cultures while studying a variety of courses. We have a variety of self-catered and catered accommodations available at both our Exeter and Penryn campuses, suitable for a range of budgets. It is not compulsory to live in university accommodation in your first year, and if you would like to live in private accommodation, there are a number of options available.

Arts, Culture, and Creativity

There are so many ways you can get involved with arts and culture at the University of Exeter. The Students’ Guild has over 60 creative societies, including theatre and performance, music, media, and arts and crafts. You can attend film screenings, concerts, plays, exhibitions, and artist talks, and there is a wealth of cultural content online to explore.

Clubs and Societies

In Exeter, thousands of students sign up for around 300 different guild-affiliated societies. These societies cover a wide range of activities, enabling our students to get fully involved with university life. Societies range from the conventional (such as the English Society, Ski Club, Photosoc, and Jazz Orchestra) to the more esoteric (such as the Chocolate Society and Hide and Seek Society). Scholarship Coverage

The University of Exeter Scholarships 2024 in the UK will cover UK/EU tuition fees and an annual tax-free stipend of at least £14,777 for 3.5 years of full-time study.

Eligibility Requirements

• These will be given to an academically gifted candidate from the United Kingdom or continental Europe who would be unable to study without financial support.
• This prize is made possible by the generosity of a Business School graduate.
• If you are from a non-anglophone nation, you must have an English language level of IELTS 7.0 with no section less than 6.0, or equivalent.
• We’ll ask you to upload your CV, transcript, and, if necessary, an English language certificate, as well as proof of financial aid obtained for your studies thus far.
