Chinese Language Student Program

International students are recruited in spring and autumn, and the study time is 18 weeks each; there are 6 levels of teaching classes, including elementary, intermediate, and advanced, according to the level of Chinese proficiency. Students who need to study for a degree can apply to transfer to the second or third year of the Chinese language and literature major at the International Chinese College after passing the relevant examinations. After completing the credits, they can obtain a bachelor’s degree.

Application Qualifications

• 18-50 years old, in good physical and mental health.
• Non-Chinese citizens with a high school diploma or above and holding a valid foreign passport.
• The Ministry of Education regulations require residents of Mainland China (Mainland), Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan who wish to apply as foreign students after immigrating abroad to possess a valid foreign passport or nationality certification document before April 30, 2010. Additionally, applicants from 2010 onward must demonstrate a record of residing abroad for more than 2 years from April 30, 2020, to the registration deadline.
• Be able to afford the study and living expenses while studying in China.

Student Activities

In order to enrich the extracurricular life of international students and help them better integrate into Chinese campus culture, our school carries out a variety of rich activities for international students, which are divided into ongoing activities all year round and activities held at fixed times every year. Extracurricular activities are led by the International Student Management Office, and the international student counselors are responsible for the specific implementation.
