About the opportunity
Reporting to Professor Dong Xu, Chair in Computer Engineering and ARC Future Fellow at the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, the Postdoctoral Research Associate will contribute to a range of research activities focused on deep learning for image/video processing and computer vision. In this role you will conduct high-quality research, publish research works in top tier conferences and journals and assist with the supervision of current PhD students.

The school has achieved major research outcomes in the fields of software, bio-electronics, computer engineering, photonics, power and telecommunication engineering
About you

- completed (or near completion) a PhD in the relevant field of Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, Image/Video processing or Machine Learning
- demonstrated skills/knowledge/experience in artificial intelligence research
- a proven track record through literature review, qualitative and quantitative research and laboratory methods
- demonstrated contributions to publications in top tier conferences and journals (e.g., IEEE T-PAMI, IEEE T-TIP, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICML and NeurIPS)
