Mitacs Globalink Research Internship
The Mitacs Globalink Research Internship 2024 is a Canadian initiative aimed at providing international students with education and empowerment through the teaching of Canadian research methods and techniques. Scholarship Value/ Inclusions for Mitacs Globalink Research Internship:
- The interns will have the opportunity to conduct research with Canadian professors and universities.
- They will receive a stipend for student enrollment fees, with a maximum of $300.
- The program also covers the cost of round-trip airfare to Canada and provides transportation from the airport to their accommodation.
- A stipend for housing will also be provided.
- Health insurance will be covered, and interns will have free registration for industry events and professional development courses.
- Upon completion of the program, interns will receive a Globalink Research Completion Certificate.
Eligibility Criteria for Mitacs Globalink Research Internship:
- To apply, the candidate should be a full-time undergraduate or undergraduate/master’s student from a qualifying institution.
- They should be from one of the eligible countries: Australia, Brazil, China, Colombia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Mexico, Taiwan, Tunisia, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, or the United States.
- Additionally, the candidate should be at least 18 years old and have one or three semesters remaining as of Fall 2023.
- Lastly, the candidate must be available for a 12-week internship in Canada.
