Scholarship Benefits

Up to three scholarships are given away annually by the Oesterreichische National Bank (hereinafter referred to as the OeNB) as part of the “Klaus Liebscher Economic Research Scholarship” program (hence referred to as the Scholarship or Scholarships). The Scholarship Program was created to enable exceptional researchers to contribute their knowledge to the wide array of research projects carried out by the OeNB’s Economic Analysis and Research Department. The Scholarship program targets experts from Austria and abroad who have a track record of economics and finance research, as well as postdoctoral research experience, and who are currently employed by an Austrian or non-Austrian research institution.
